Hassan Razavi

Hassan Razavi specialises in handling high-stakes disputes and transactional work across diverse sectors, including digital law, energy, shipping, and international trade. He has over two decades of extensive expertise in commercial arbitration and litigation.

Hassan is a qualified Solicitor and Barrister with the Law Society of Ontario (Canada). He co-found MESHKAT after serving as Counsel and regional head for August Debouzy, a prominent Paris-based international law firm. He has successfully represented clients in landmark international disputes, acting for them in courts across multiple jurisdictions in complex litigations.

Hassan's educational credentials include an LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Ph.D. in International Trade Law from the University of Neuchâtel, and degrees in private law and law from the University of Tehran. He also lectured on economic sanctions and international trade law at McGill University in Canada during his postdoctoral fellowship. Fluent in Persian, English, French, and Arabic, he seamlessly navigates multi-lingual legal and arbitration proceedings.
Known for his strategic insight and results-oriented approach, Hassan has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor in resolving complex disputes and achieving successful outcomes for his global clients.
